She Left Proof Challenge

After reading the “She left proof” photo challenge my sister posted on facebook, I decided to join in and take a photo of me and one of my kids as often as possible. Here’s a couple of my favorites so far and I’m also re-posting the link to the blog with the moving story about how the challenge started. (I also included a shot of the boys with the hubby, I wanted them to also have photos of them with their papa.) It’s been fun trying to snatch photos here and there with the boys, I’m getting pretty good at using the camera timer and running into the frame!

Growing boys

My second and third boy just had birthdays and I had to do their annual birthday shoots. It’s always fun to have some one on one time with them and just get to photograph them having fun.

Mr. Dreamy

I LOVE newborn shoots! This almost one month old slept like a rock and smelled like lavender and I adored every minute of this shoot. The adorable hats are from the talented Thimbles and Threads.

Red is the color of love

I love this family, I love that they were troopers in freezing cold weather, I love how Mom and Dad look at each other, I love that we found the perfect red door to make our vision of this shoot turn out better than I dreamed! Hope you love them too.:)

Autumn in DC

I got the chance to go to Washington DC to attend the baby shower for my old college roommate and squeeze in a family/maternity shoot. They had the most AMAZING foliage right next to their house and I didn’t want to change a single photo to black and white because the colors were just stunning! I only wish it hadn’t been so cold so we could’ve shot even longer.
